So fun to coach fellow teamhper @lisakopp00 yesterday in the pool. Lisa broke her foot a couple weeks ago so it turned into a perfect time to start working on some swimming. Love it! #teamsfq #smashfestqueen

Update: Just shy of 30 weeks pregnant and I finally asked Nate to take a picture of me where I didn’t say “make me look skinny”. I know I haven’t posted much about the pregnancy, mainly because between breaking my big toe and finding out I was pregnant (same weekend btw), I had a lot to grapple with athletically. This made the first trimester especially difficult watching the weight on the scale creep up muscle mass die. Obviously what I could do with the toe was limited and I felt generally tired and unmotivated. The goal was just to workout every day and I promptly stopped weighing myself. By the second trimester I was able to start running hard again but this came with its own problems since I was heavier in addition to dealing with severe pelvic pain, so around 20 weeks I stopped running for about a month, continuing to bike, swim, and lift. Since then my running has been short and sporadic as I am managing the pain and biking has also become extremely difficult. But I have taken up the stair machine, which I am currently loving I feel like I can actually workout hard again, it’s ROUGH climbing stairs with an extra twenty pounds (no weight vest needed here). I wish I could post all the workouts I am crushing lately, but I still find it hard to manage my 1-1.5 hours per day. Nate and I are frantically making up for the 5 years we neglected the house and I’m also trying to bank hours at work so I can stay at home a little longer with the little one.
